Following substantial investment by leading global construction firm, GS Engineering & Construction (GS E&C), Elements Europe have a number of large projects in the pipeline and is looking to scale up the delivery capability with immediate effect.

Direct Reports:                 None

Salary:                                  £15.75 per hour

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• 1^st Fix Wiring and 2^nd Fix Wiring within bathroom pods and modular pods
• Working efficiently and to Production deadlines, whilst remaining within Health and Safety Guidelines, within a manufacturing environment
• Working as part of a team and alongside Electrician’s Mates, to support and develop the team
• Offline assembly and testing of light fittings
• Preparation and testing of wiring looms and containment
• Complete job confirmation sheets and electrical certificates where necessary
• Report all quality/design problems to Electrical Supervisor
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to Elements Europe Risk Assessment and Procedures
• Ensure that all works are manufactured in accordance with Elements Europe drawings and specifications
• Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at the level required
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Elements Europe quality systems and checks
• All work in accordance with BS 7671

Experience and Knowledge required:

• Domestic Wiring experience
• Domestic testing and fault-finding experience (preferred, but not essential)
• Modular/New Build construction experience preferred
• Knowledge of electrical regulations
• Knowledge and Experience of working to BS 7671
• 18^th Edition (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum 1 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
• Electrical Installation (NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent)
• Ability to read electrical and technical drawings
• Clear communication with all management and team members, at all times
• MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN UK.
