Elements Europe have been appointed as the Main Contractor to deliver 18 homes for affordable rent on the site of the former Northcotts complex in Abbots Langley for Watford Community Housing .

The site will be redeveloped using offsite manufacturing. Works on site started on 27/06/2022 with flats scheduled for completion by 2023.

The process will involve the design, planning, manufacture and pre-assembly of modular construction elements and components in an offsite factory environment.

It is proven that modular construction provides quicker build times and numerous environmental benefits including reducing on-site waste, energy usage and fewer vehicle movements.
