Elements Europe will be supporting a local college to run a short construction course in February.
Telford College will be offering over 19-year olds the opportunity to get into the construction industry or return to it with a short course which allows students to complete three certifications.
Students will gain certificates in construction skills, personal development for employability and lean organisation techniques.
In order for Telford College to run the course they need to guarantee applicants a job interview with local employers. Elements Europe has agreed to offer each attendee a job interview, enabling them to improve their interview techniques.
“We are delighted to help Telford College, new training courses and certifications in construction is something we are passionate about. The industry has a skills shortage so courses such as this are beneficial for all” said Michael Lloyd, HR Director at Elements Europe.
