Leading Pod Manufacturers Elements Europe have been awarded a £8.4 million contract to manufacture and deliver 1114 bathroom pods for Wood Wharf J1/J3 development in Canary Wharf, London.

The project is being developed by Canary Wharf Group (CWG), using Canary Wharf Contractors as the Main Contractor. The J1/J3 scheme designed by project architects GRID Architects is the third build-to-rent (BTR) tower scheme for Wood Wharf. Adding to the vibrant mixed-use neighbourhood, Wood Wharf J1/J3 will provide two residential towers of 49 and 34 storeys each with a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom flats, accompanied by ancillary and retail. The scheme will be situated by the waterfront, along the north bank of South Quay. The BTR apartments will be operated by CWG’s residential leasing arm, Vertus and will be aimed at an intermediate rental level.
