Bathroom Pod Boom Continues in Manchester

Elements Europe has won another contract with Russell WBHO to manufacture bathroom pods for a brand new Clayton Hotel in Manchester city centre, for Dalata Hotel Group plc.

The new 17 storey Clayton Hotel will see Elements Europe manufacture 329 bathroom pods of three types; 286 pods will be shower pods, 26 bath pods and 17 accessible pods and each will be built floorless at the request of the client.

The bathroom pods will be fully tiled with white and grey tone tiles. All will feature a wall hung toilet, large rectangular semi recessed basin, rectangular demister mirror and a bath/shower or just shower with quality fixtures giving these bathrooms a four star finish.

Representatives from Delata Group visited Elements Europe’s factory to approve a prototype of the bathroom pod to ensure it is to their exact standards. Now that the prototype is approved manufacturing will commence in December. With the first delivery to site scheduled for January 2020.

“We are delighted to have won another contract with Russell Construction. This fourth contract win is testament to the quality of our systems and customer service” commented Kevin Arthur Director at Elements Europe.

“We are also really excited to be working with Delata, a brand new end client for Elements Europe and look forward to delivering their expectations.” He added.

The £60m hotel development funded between Property Alliance Group and Aviva Investors will be located on Portland Street, a prime location for offices, shopping and transport links. The hotel will replace a 50-year-old office block which has now been fully demolished. The hotel will include a ground-floor bar with restaurant at mezzanine level as well as a business centre with meeting rooms.

The Irish based hotel group owns two hotel brands, the four star Maldron, and Clayton Hotels, as well as managing a portfolio of partner hotels throughout the UK and Ireland.
