Another Residential Bathroom Pod Contract Won in Manchester
Elements Europe has won a contract with Mount Anvil to deliver a bathroom pod solution for the residential element of the £250 million mixed use development in the heart of Manchester’s city centre, called The Kampus. Mount Anvil are the contractor working on behalf of JV developers Capital and Centric and Henry Boot Developments.
Elements Europe will manufacture, deliver and final position 589 bathroom pods to Phase 1 of the scheme.
Four types of bathroom pods will be manufactured, two types of ensuite bathrooms with alternative door hangings, a main bathroom and a jack and jill bathroom.
Each pod will be manufactured to the exact specification of the client and include fixtures and fittings that reflect that of modern city centre living. Quality sanitaryware, brassware and beautiful finishing materials will be used to give a luxury feel to these high end apartments.
A prototype of each pod will be approved by the client prior to manufacture commencing on the full order.
Elements Europe will work to a strict schedule of manufacture and instant install due to the pods being installed as the building is erected on a floor by floor basis. The first of the bathroom pods will start to be installed in February 2018 and manufacturing will continue through to April 2018. The last bathroom pod will be installed in August 2018.
This isn’t the first time Elements Europe has delivered an offsite solution to Mount Anvil having worked with the contactor on a residential development on Seward Street in London.
The Kampus project is also the third residential project Elements Europe has delivered for in the last 18 months in Manchester with the successful completion of a private rented scheme on Hathersage Road and the delivery of 914 bathroom pods for BCEGI’s Middlewood Locks development.
