Elements Europe will manufacture and deliver 300 bathroom pods for the New Bailey development in Manchester, being developed by Muse Developments part of the Morgan Sindall Group.
Five types of bathroom pods will be manufactured for the final phase of the New Bailey scheme named the Slate Yard. The five types will be made up of different sized pods, some with baths others with showers.
The spacious pods have been designed with large textured grey tiles, Porcelanosa wall hung WCs and sinks, Hansgrohe brassware and large mirrors.
Each pod will be manufactured floorless upon the request of the client. This means that a continuous floor finish can be implemented throughout the apartments.
Morgan Sindall and Muse Developments will visit Elements Europe’s manufacturing facility to approve a prototype prior to the start of manufacturing in mid-January 2019.
Two tower blocks have already been built at the Slate Yard, this phase will be a 21 storey tower and will be the tallest of the three blocks comprising 199 PRS apartments including 98 one bed apartments, 81 two beds and 20 three bedroom homes.
“We are really pleased to once again be working with the main contractor Morgan Sindall, and delivering for this important joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England” Commented Kevin Arthur, Director at Elements Europe.
New Bailey is located to the north west of the city and is on a major route into the city from Salford. New Bailey is already home to a hotel, office space and two multi storey car park.
