Elements Europe Welcomes New Apprentices
Elements Europe, UK leaders in offsite building solutions has collaborated with Telford College to recruit ten Property Maintenance NVQ candidates to join Elements Europe’s manufacturing team.
Telford College has recruited the candidates through the National Apprenticeship Service. The Property Maintenance NVQ covers six main areas, plumbing, electrical, plastering, tiling, painting and decorating as well as Health and Safety for best working practice.
The qualification proves popular with companies and candidates as it covers a wide variety of trades enabling candidates to get exposure to lots of different areas of the manufacturing process.
“It’s great to see local companies like Elements Europe investing in young, local people and offering them the opportunities to grow and develop in a career they are passionate about” commented Telford College’s Recruitment Officer, Lora Rogers.“We are really excited to be working with such an innovative company to be able to inspire young people” Lora added.
The students will attend Telford College once a week. Here they will learn in its modern, well-equipped training facilities and gain practical work skills as well as theoretical knowledge. The candidates will then work in Elements Europe for the remainder of the week gaining valuable hands-on experience.
