The Client
Elements Europe has successfully secured a contract with Yorkshire owned contractor, Caddick Construction to manufacture bathroom pods for a PRS scheme in Leeds city centre, said to be one of the first, high quality build-to-rent schemes in Leeds.
Project Description: 740 bathroom pods
Elements Europe will manufacture six different types of bathroom pod for the scheme including bath pods, shower pods, and bath/shower pods of varying sizes.
The development will consist of a total of 515 homes across 16 storeys. It will have a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments as well as a unique two bed sharer option, a solution for those wanting to share. These will provide two equally-sized bedrooms, with en-suites on either side of a shared living space.
The scheme is part of a larger development by Caddick Development named SOYO, the newest project by Caddick Developments, who are dedicated to creating a new vibrant, authentic and forward thinking neighbourhood in the city. The apartments will be rented out by Moda Living, owners of Caddick Construction.
Award-winning DLG Architects has designed the scheme over two C-shaped 16-storey blocks, with a new public courtyard in between the buildings and rooftop terraces overlooking the city centre. Two commercial units will also be delivered at ground floor.
In addition to the 515 Moda rental homes, SOYO will include a new hotel, bars, restaurants, further residential, a multi storey car park as well as high quality public realm and open green spaces.
