Elements Europe has hosted an open evening for the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) at Essential Living’s Creekside Wharf residential development in Greenwich.
Now part way through the install of Room Modules, the CIOB approached Elements Europe proposing an event for its members.
Places were filled within days of promoting the event which saw 20 guests tour the site with Elements Europe’s Managing Director Simon Underwood and team.
Lee Yeates, Construction Director at InnC UK, Construction Managers on the scheme discussed the planning, challenges and solutions related to the scheme as well as the modular manufacturing process and its future.
Simon Underwood, Managing Director at Elements Europe commented: “We take every opportunity to help inform the construction industry on modular construction and its benefits.”
“The team thoroughly enjoy presenting this unique modular development and look forward to working with the CIOB again”, Underwood added.
The residential development has gained a lot of interest due to the modular solution that has been utilised for the 23 storey and 12-storey towers, and is one of the first modular private rented schemes in the UK.
All 249 apartments which are made up of 653 modules are being manufactured and delivered by Elements Europe as well as a modular roof structure, corridor cassette and pre-manufactured balconies.
