Quality Technician

We are looking for Quality Technician’s to join our team in Telford, Shropshire.

Rate of pay: Depending on Experience 

Hours: 45-hour week (Monday – Thursday 06:00am – 16:00pm and Friday 06:00am – 13.30pm)

What you will do as a Quality Technician

The focus of the Quality Technician role is to provide quality support from within the quality department, to operations, planning and design teams on short-, medium- and long-term goals.

Quality Technician Duties:

  • Provide support to assigned production areas to control in-process quality, identify and report non-conforming product, Promoting a culture of right first time,
  • Determine the root cause of defects and action preventative improvement actions with process / production managers,
  • Design review and assessment, and can read detailed drawings,
  • Assist in reviewing and implement corrective actions from audit non-conformances,
  • Assist with the calibration review and control,
  • Assist with the accreditation point of control,

What we need you to have to be a Quality Technician

The Quality Technician will have enthusiasm for their work, as they will be joining a new team, who are enthusiastic for being best in class ‘right first time.’

Quality Technician requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings,
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015),
  • Experience from a construction off-site building / manufacturing background,
  • Computer literate – with a working knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint.
