Contract Win for Tallest Residential Building in Birmingham

Elements Europe has won a contract to manufacture bathroom pods for a brand new PRS development in Birmingham city centre, for client John Sisk.

Elements Europe will manufacture a total of 692 bathroom pods for the scheme. Eight different types of bathroom pods will be manufactured including shower pods, bath pods and pods featuring both bath and showers, each varying in size to provide main bathrooms and en-suites for these luxury two and three bed apartments.

The pods are fully tiled with large landscape stone effect tiles and are fitted with large showers, wall hung wc and mirrored vanity unit. The pods reflect the luxury feel of this exclusive development in line with Moda Living’s aesthetics brand values.

A prototype has been manufactured and approved by the client ready for full manufacture to take place shortly.

This 42 storey apartment block named The Mercian is being constructed for property developers Moda Living and will feature 480 luxury apartments. Located on Broad Street in Birmingham, the nightlife capital of the city it is an extremely attractive location for young professionals. The scheme is due to open in 2021. Not only will it be the tallest residential building in Birmingham but also a first for the UK housing market to have a 200 metre roof top running track.
